Bai Mu Dan – White Peony

$ 9.000,00Price

White tea, made from buds too polite to fully become leaves. A pale, peachy infusion with a whisper of flavour rather than a statement. Subtle, airy, and impossibly civilised — the kind of tea that doesn’t enter the room so much as float into it and apologise for existing.More character, still courtly, comprising a bud and two tender young leaves. Notes of honey, hay, and apricot mingle like polite chatter on a pavilion balcony during a rain delay. One may imagine the leaf having once witnessed a noble cover drive or a mischievous night in Camelot.

I drink this while watching slow-motion replays of elegant cover drives, insisting that both the tea and the shot share the same virtue: nothing unnecessary, everything refined.
